Ms. Kessler has been our piano teacher for almost twenty years- we have four children. Her teaching embodies both professionalism that parents appreciate and a warmth that makes kids feel at ease.  She is both funny and kind to all her students.  Over the years, her teaching has  positively affected my children by helping them develop a sense of confidence and independence. She knows how to make lessons fun and social, but also seriously guides the children  towards performance and audition goals. Her daily  practice schedule has led to  more effective concentration in academics and improved my children’s time management skills. But most of all, her love of music and piano is contagious. Her passion is evident in every lesson and we are blessed that she has shared her gift with our family over the years.

We have only the best things to say about Judy Kessler!  My girls are motivated by Judy’s passion for music and creativity in expression, and they were always made to feel like professional musicians, even as beginners!  Her professional and caring manner comes across to her students and she is able to relate to each student on their level of musical talent and ability.  She has even inspired and guided my oldest child to compose her own music, perform independently in larger venues, and gave her the confidence to pursue teaching music to others!  Through her teaching techniques of encouraging students to perform in more casual and professional venues throughout the year, my daughters developed confidence and poise that carries over to other areas of their lives as well. Judy is a role model for my daughters and has helped them grow into confident and passionate musicians!

Judy Kessler is a phenomenal instructor.  She taught my daughter piano for several years and brought her to the point of playing a piece so remarkably well that I was astounded!  After decades of playing classical piano, I started taking lessons from Judy. In a few months she was able to train my brain and my fingers to play jazz piano.  Judy Kessler is a blessing to have as an instructor: she is kind, insightful, full of melody, and comes highly recommended by me! 

We have known Ms. Judy for over 10 years and we recommend her to any friend who asks “Who teaches the boys to play the piano?”  She has tremendous patience with children and truly loves sharing her musical talents. We appreciate all her innovative attempts in keeping the children engaged, from finding music that they want to play, organizing fun music workshops and performance opportunities, encouraging music competitions, and to gently pushing our boys along with love through their music journey.  Ms Judy is a gifted musician and a wonderful teacher, and we recommend her without reservation.
